We thank the Governor for signing HB5812. Now that this school funding trailer bill has been signed, rural, urban and suburban schools throughout Illinois can receive their new evidence-based funding for this school year. This is an important first step, but the work isn’t over. We must continue to invest until Illinois achieves adequate and equitable funding of all schools.
